Rossera / Price Waterhouse Coopers (PwC)

Rossera is an Oracle partner specialising in Oracle Cloud solutions. PwC purchased Rossera’s in-house Oracle Cloud tools (DataQuarry/ProcessSense) in order to migrate their global billing processes from a chatbot solution into Oracle Cloud/ProcessSense.

Bluestep Limited was engaged to assist with this data migration on multiple fronts from producing complex Cloud queries to select business data, building a security model for the new cloud implementation, supporting the business during Hypercare and producing data analysis/reconciliation BI Publisher reports.

The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO)

The FCDO Hera programme is designed to deliver an integrated Finance and HR system on the Oracle Cloud platform for the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office following the merger of DFID (Department for International Development) and the FCO (Foreign, Commonwealth Office).

Bluestep Limited was engaged in multiple areas of the programme including designing data extract files from the source systems, the loading of data into Oracle Finance and HCM Cloud and the production of Oracle Cloud data migration reconciliation reports.

The Home Office

The UK Home Office Metis project was a programme to transfer critical functions to Oracle Cloud to modernise their back-office processes.

For their 35,000 employees and external suppliers/customers they recently implemented Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for finance, Oracle Fusion Cloud Customer Experience (CX) for Customer service/support and Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM) for the HR functions including payroll.

Bluestep Limited was engaged on this project and tasked with cleansing legacy data in preparation for data migration and with loading HR data files into Oracle HCM Cloud.

Metropolitan Thames Valley

Metropolitan Thames Valley provides housing at different levels of affordability for people living in London, the South East, East Midlands and East of England.

In 2019, MTV embarked on a data migration to Oracle E-Business Suite Financials. Bluestep Limited performed a key role in enabling the data migration of their in-house legacy systems to Oracle E-Business Suite.

Bluestep Limited also provided a full 360 degree data migration reconciliation reporting solution to verify the migration and supported the business through it’s post data migration activities.

John Lewis and Partners

John Lewis & Partners engaged the Bluestep Limited for two individual projects, each with separate project deliverables.

The first project was an in-house “SMART” Pensions project to allow employees to self-manage their pension contributions. Bluestep Limited was instrumental in delivering a bespoke Oracle HRMS/Payroll solution for the entire organisation.

The second project was to provide a level of confidence that all JLP Oracle Financials customisations were working as expected following a series of major patch upgrades. Bluestep Limited was a key player in investigating any post patch defects and issues and providing appropriate solutions in a timely and cost efficient manner.
